There are a variety of woodworking courses at Wellsboro High School. Below, you will find a listing of the courses that I offer with a summary of the course and a link to the class website. The class website has information about the day-to-day operation of the class along with the course syllabus, behavioral expectations, and project grading rubrics.

Introduction to Shop Skills and Shop Skills
Each of these two courses is a semester long. These courses are designed to introduce students to the safety and procedures used in the shop. Additionally, the students are exposed to power and hand tools. Students have the opportunity to build some basic projects.
This is a yearlong course that introduces students to woodworking fundamentals as they pertain to cabinet and furniture making. Instruction will cover safe use of hand and power tools.

This is a yearlong course that is designed to build on the skills that students gained in the first level course (Woodworking 1). Students should expect to learn about design and fine craftsmanship. The chosen projects are to reflect the advanced artistic nature of the course.
