Good Afternoon Students, Parents and Guardians

This is Mr. Jeremy Byrd, Assistant Principal of Wellsboro Area High School.

Today, Tuesday April 14th, begins Wellsboro Area High School’s shift to online instruction for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. These assignments going forward will be graded as we attempt to close out the year in a more structured fashion. Our school website will soon have a spreadsheet, complete with links to assignments, teachers’ office hours and contact information.Students please make sure that you are checking your email daily if you have access.

Students that have requested the paper and pencil options will be receiving work soon via the US Postal Service. Students may send the paper/pencil work back to the school in the pre-addressed stamped envelope provided in your packet. The paper/pencil assignments will be sent home each week and may be returned the following week.

We should be receiving our fundraiser items in the next 2-3 weeks and will arrange pick up at that time.

Graduation and Prom are two important events that we are striving to still have, although they may look different than in years past. We will be sharing those plans later on.

For any questions about scholarships – Please contact Mrs. Deb Gastrock for questions. She can be contacted via email or by calling the school.

Report cards will be posted Thursday and are accessible via the Parent/Student Portal.

If you have any difficulties during this time please email your teachers or call the school at (570) 724-3547. We know that these are difficult times for everyone and we encourage everyone to remain flexible and positive as we work through this situation together.

Thank you and have a good evening.
