GENERAL REGISTRATION FOR WELLSBORO AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
To register a student for the current school year, you will need to register online (see link below). Any questions, please contact Joyce Butler, at the District Administration located at 227 Nichols Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901, call (570) 724-4424, ext. 1023 or e-mail at jbutler@wellsborosd.org.
For your child to enroll in Kindergarten they will need to be 5 years of age before September 1, and for First grade 6 years of age before September 1, of the current year. Items you will need for the registration include:
Your student’s birth certificate
Your student’s immunization records
Proof of residency - acceptable documentation includes two (2) of the following:
A current deed;
A mortgage statement no more than three months old;
An active residential lease agreement;
A utility bill no more than three months old;
An internet bill no more than three months old;
A credit card bill no more than three months old;
A bank statement no more than three months old;
A tax bill no more than three months old;
An insurance document no more than three months old; or
A piece of mail sent in the past three months by the federal or state government such as benefits information, voter registration, or tax documents.

Please note: The Registration Login and the Community Portal Logins are not the same. If you already have a Community/Parent Portal login for previously enrolled students, you will still need to create a login to access the online registration. Conversely, creating a Registration Login does not grant you access to your child’s Community/Parent Portal.
