Special Education Paraprofessionals

VACANCY – Part -Time

Maintenance/Custodial VACANCIES

The Wellsboro Area School District is accepting immediate applications for the following support staff vacancy for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Part-time Custodian (Don Gill Elementary-Evening shift)(5hr. position / 12months)

Full-Time Custodian (Wellsboro High School-Evening Shift)(8 hrs. per day / 12 months)

2 Full-Time Custodian (Rock L. Butler Middle School)(8 hrs. per day / 12 months; 3:00 - 11:30 PM)

Maintenance Worker I (dayshift)(8 hrs. position / 12 months)

Duties include but not limited to:

1. Must possess comprehensive knowledge of building operating systems and regulatory codes;

2. Must possess basic knowledge and understanding of commercial electrical systems including 3 phase voltages below 600VAC, plumbing, heating, ventilation, commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning;

3. Must possess general carpentry skills, including drywall and painting;

4. Capable of performing preventative maintenance instructions and tasks;

5. Capable of following written or verbal instructions with limited supervision and have awareness and attention to details and surroundings;

6. Vocational/Technical school diploma and two years of maintenance experience in a school, institution, or hospitality facility;
7. Candidate must possess a valid PA driver’s license;

8.  Candidate must be available  for emergency call response and overtime as needed.
