Bryce Bitner

Mr. Bryce Bitner

Hello! My name is Mr. Bitner and I am the Emotional Support Teacher at Wellsboro Area High School! I am a 2016 Graduate of Central Mountain High School, where I competed in Football, Wrestling, and Tennis. I am also a 2020 Graduate of Lock Haven University, where I played Football and eventually began my coaching career coaching Varsity Wrestling at my alma mater, Central Mountain. I graduated with a degree in Secondary Education: Social Studies/Special Education.

When I’m not in school, I enjoy watching sports, hunting, fishing, spending time with family/friends, and exercising. I grew up on a farm full of horses, cows, and pigs and spent most of my summers helping out on the family farm bailing hay. I am a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles, Penn State Football/Wrestling, and love to watch the NBA.

I have recently added Football to my coaching resume, as I have become an Assistant Football Coach on the Hornet Football Team’s Staff and look forward to coaching Wrestling as well. This is my first year teaching and first year in the Wellsboro community. I have been amazed at the kind and welcoming environment I have been exposed to the minute I got here. I am very excited to be able to teach, coach, and become involved in the Wellsboro community! Go Hornets!
