Hello! My name is Mrs. Tice. I live in Wellsboro with my family and our pets. I have two kids and I enjoy taking them to their sporting events, skiing, and being outdoors. I grew up here in Wellsboro. I graduated from Mansfield University with a dual degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2007. I also have a Master’s Degree in Library Science and Technology. I was hired at the Charlotte Lappla in 2008 as a Kindergarten teacher and in 2009 I started teaching K/1. I enjoy teaching every day and working with my students.
We will be having a lot of fun this year as we learn new things. I am looking forward to working with each one of my students. My goal is to help them build a love for lifelong learning and achieve their full potential. I will strive to do this through the use of individualized learning strategies and by providing a positive classroom environment where my students feel respected, safe, secure, and confident. The links to the left will provide more detailed information about our daily curriculum.
I will send a classroom newsletter out each week. I believe that open communication is key to having a successful school year. If you ever have any questions or concerns, you may contact me by sending a note in your child’s homework folder, e-mailing me, or calling the school.
