Hello! My name is Mrs. Tice. I live in Wellsboro with my family and our puppy, Hershey. I have two kids and I enjoy taking them to their sporting events, skiing, and being outdoors. I grew up here in Wellsboro. I graduated from Mansfield University with a dual degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2007. I also have a Master’s Degree in Library Science and Technology. I was hired at the Charlotte Lappla in 2008 as a Kindergarten teacher and in 2009 I started teaching K/1. I enjoy teaching every day and working with my students.
We will be having a lot of fun this year as we learn new things. I am looking forward to working with each one of my students. My goal is to help them build a love for lifelong learning and achieve their full potential. I will strive to do this through the use of individualized learning strategies and by providing a positive classroom environment where my students feel respected, safe, secure, and confident. The links to the left will provide more detailed information about our daily curriculum.
This website will be updated regularly to help keep everyone informed about what is happening in our classroom. I believe that open communication is key to having a successful school year. If you ever have any questions or concerns, you may contact me by sending a note in your child’s homework folder, e-mailing me, or calling the school.

“While we try to teach our children all about life, Our children teach us what life is all about.”
