Wellsboro students earned their Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing!

Students awarded certificates as they complete the PCT Pre-Apprentice Program.

In the final day at Pennsylvania College of Technology students connected with industry partners to explore internship and apprenticeship opportunities based on their career pathways.

What is AMP?

WASD has a Pre-Apprenticeship in Advanced Manufacturing with Pennsylvania College of Technology. The program is offered within the Engineering CTE program and utilizes a combination of online modules, instructor-led labs, and direct industry engagement. AMP is designed to introduce the foundational technical skills found in manufacturing. The program content aligns to the Certified Manufacturing Associate Body of Knowledge, developed by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). 

AMP is funded through Federal and State-sponsored grants focused on expanding pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship opportunities.
