The STING referral is meant to help us celebrate those that are doing outstanding things within our school. A STING referral nominates someone that you notice doing one or more of the following, but is not limited to being:
1. Kind
2. Respectful
3. Positive attitude
4. Helpful
5. A leader
6. Going the extra mile
7. Being a good role model
8. Just doing good things
STING stands for:
S= Speak Appropriately
* Using your manners when speaking.
* Speak positively and kindly.
* Think before you speak or react.
* No vulgar language.
T= Think Positively
* Believe in yourself and others
* Make the best of every situation.
* Be aware of your impact on others
* Encourage others to try new things, accept differences, and be authentic.
I= Inspire Others
*Set good examples- someone might look up to you.
*Be the face of a leader.
* Include everyone in activities.
* Go the extra mile- do something "just because" and without being asked.
N= Notice Actions
* Be aware of what's going on around you.
* Acknowledge positive behavior in others.
* Report any concerns to an adult.
* Take actions to meet others' needs.
G= Go Hornets!
*Respect your principals, teachers, all adults, and peers.
* Be supportive of all school programs.
* Participate in Theme Weeks
* Represent your school with class.
