Federal Programs- Title I, I, IV
Wellsboro Area School District receives Title 1 federal funding to improve educational opportunities for children. Title 1 programs are intended to help students in reading, language arts, and mathematics. Parents may contact their child’s school to ensure that professional employees are, by definition, appropriately state-certified. To do so, parents would contact the building principal or the Director of Federal Programs.
Annual Notice: Direct notification annually via the district's website that they may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child's teacher(s), and of paraprofessionals who provide instructional services to their children.

To all parents/guardians of Title 1 (Federal Programs) Reading students: The Annual Parent Engagement Meeting was held on May 20, 2025, and on August 22, 2026, at 9:00 AM in the Don Gill Elementary Library.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 9:00 in the Don Gill Elementary Library.
