Students at Charlotte Lappla were recognized for being kind, being safe and/or being responsible. These are the core behaviors for our PBIS or positive behavior intervention and supports system. PBIS is designed to encourage and reward good behavior. We will be recognizing students all year long!

Here are some library reminders for our elementary students! It can be hard to keep track of what day is what special, so here's a quick post you can screenshot in case you're not sure when your student's library book is due. Students can always renew a book but they need to bring their library books to library special each week. Thanks for helping us keep the libraries going!

Charlotte Lappla went on a wonderful field trip to Hume's Blooms, Lil' Half Pint , and also met and learned about summer safety with the State Police .
Charlotte Lappla had a wonderful field trip thanks to many people from the community! A special thanks to Komodo Gelato; Brian Kennedy with Wellsboro Parks and Rec for donating Wynken, Blyken, & Nod books to first graders; and Brandy Hirsh for teaching yoga to our kids on Yoga Day! What a great day!

1st grade had their annual spelling bee today! Finalists: Hailey Linden, Lydia Thrush, Paislei Alplanalp, Wesley Boggs and Madison Avery.
The students at Charlotte Lappla were treated to a concert by our amazingly talented 4th grade choir!
Today Charlotte Lappla had our 100 book club celebration! For every 100 books read, students were entered into a drawing for prizes. There was also awards for the top reader in class and the top reader of the school! We had so much fun celebrating reading today!
Mrs. Smith hosted her first annual Book Blast at Charlotte Lappla. 65% of students participated and ALL students earned at least 3 books!
C&N Bank came to our school today to talk about saving money! Each child received a 5 dollar coupon to start a savings account at C&N and a mini beach ball! We really appreciate what our community does for our students !
Next week is the Charlotte Lappla Spring Music Program! We can't wait to see you there at the Admin. Building!
Nutrition Group sponsored a special guest yesterday at Charlotte Lappla . Molly the cow was promoting milk at breakfast. Molly handed out cheese sticks and autographs for all students.
