🌟 RLBMS Staff Spotlight: Mr. Dan Marple 🌟
Mr. Marple has been part of our district for 28 years! Did you know he and Mrs. Marple live on a Christmas Tree Farm? 🎄

His favorite part of working with middle schoolers? “They’re interested and have a lot of energy, so they can accomplish great things when it’s channeled.”

🐾 Fun fact: His beagle, Rory, loves 4-wheeler rides, chasing rabbits, and sneaking food off the counter! He also has two cats, Gus & Tucker—Gus is known for climbing onto the roof daily!

📚 Favorites: Wish You Well (book), Remember the Titans (movie), The Office (TV show)
🍦 Favorite food: Ice cream
🏞 Dream job: Wilderness fishing & hunting guide
✈️ Superpower wish: Flight
💡 Words of wisdom: “Work hard and don’t complain... even when you feel like it’s deserved.”

Cause ➡ Effect in action! Mr. Owlett’s 6th grade ELA students tested Mentos + Diet Coke, then researched the science behind the splash. 💥🥤

Spoiler: Mentos provide bubble-starting sites + Diet Coke’s low surface tension = rapid CO₂ release = 💥

Our 8th graders had an unforgettable experience visiting Genesee Country Village and Bristol Mountain! From exploring 1800s history to enjoying outdoor adventures, it was a day full of learning and fun. A huge thank you to our incredible 8th-grade teachers for organizing the trip, and to the PTO and parents for their generous support in helping fund this memorable opportunity. We appreciate all you do to make these experiences possible for our students!
