🌟RLBMS Staff Spotlight: Art Teacher Miss Kacee Reitz 🌟
Kacee has been part of our district for 2 years and brings energy and positivity to Middle School every day! ⚾ Fun fact: she played collegiate softball at Lycoming College as a catcher and second baseman.
She loves seafood, grapes for a snack, and is on a mission to visit every MLB ballpark—3 down so far! ✈️ One of her favorite trips was to Maine, and she hopes to go back someday.
Kacee says the best part about Middle School is that “there’s never a dull day, and I love helping students grow not only as learners, but as people!” 💚💛

First grade with Mrs.Mascho - painting project to go along with their informational paragraph about the butterfly life cycle .

6th graders at Rock L. Butler MS recently read an article about drones, and today they got to see that learning come to life! WASD alum, Ethan Nichols, visited to share a presentation on drone technology, answer student questions, and give a live flight demonstration. A big thank you to Ethan for inspiring our students and showing them how classroom learning connects to the real world!

Thanks to a generous donation from Jason and Colleen Butler with Pag-Omar Farms, students at the Don Gill were treated to local sweet corn at lunch! The Nutrition group planned a barbeque themed lunch and students enjoyed fresh local sweet corn along with BBQ Rib Sandwiches, fruited gelatin, and fresh cucumbers.

Math + Music = Learning Fun!
Our 7th grade math students took their integer lesson to the next level today by singing a song to help remember how to add integers. They were all in tune with the math—and one brave student even volunteered for a solo!
We love seeing creativity and confidence shine in the classroom.
