A huge thank you to our students and staff for dressing to impress and handling today’s interruptions with such patience. We wrapped up in record time, and the photographer shared that he’s never seen a more efficient, organized school with such well-behaved students—and he’s been doing this for a very long time!
It’s always wonderful to hear such positive compliments about our school community. 💚

We also made a line plot to graph the number of seeds they found in their green beans!

Students at the Charlotte Lappla celebrated Nutrition for Life for the past three days. This event encourages students to try out school lunch for FREE, thanks to the generous donations from the Nutrition Group’s food vendor partners. Congratulations to Mrs. Lightner’s class for the highest overall participation in the event. They will enjoy a pizza party with Mr. Kyle.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Kate Kreger 🌟
Celebrating 10 amazing years in the district!
🐾 You may know her as a dedicated educator, but did you know she once won third-row tickets to a Brooks & Dunn concert? 🎶
💬 Why Middle School?
“I enjoy seeing the growth—physical, personality, & academic—of Middle School students. I love that they're still kids and want to have fun, but are developing maturity and independence at the same time.”
🐶 Meet Annie & Daisy, her golden retrievers and unofficial staff members!
They love camping, side-by-side rides, and naps. Daisy’s a toy hoarder (because Annie always steals them!).
📚 Favorite pastime? Reading books with happy endings.
🍽️ Favorite foods? Homemade mac & cheese and chicken cheesesteak salad.
🌊 Favorite vacation spot? The beach!
✈️ Bucket list dream? Traveling to Italy and Ireland.
🍫 Favorite snack? Reese’s Stix
🦉 Night owl & aspiring time traveler 🕰️
📸 Dream job swap? Nature photographer!
💡 Words of Wisdom:
"It’s none of your business what other people think about you. Be the very best version of yourself; and give others the grace and the space to be theirs, too."
