Summer Announcements for June 12, 2023
At this time, graduation will be held outside. The radar looks clear for the time of the ceremony. Graduates should bring their tickets with them just in case we have to quickly move inside.
Baccalaureate services this evening will continue as scheduled. The auditorium does have a smoke smell and it is anticipated that it will become more intense as the doors open and close for entry into the building. Those with any kind of health condition should use their own judgement regarding their ability to safely attend the event.
4th Grade Assembly
Due to a lack of agenda items, the policy committee meeting scheduled for today, (5/31/23) has been canceled.
Career Day was held yesterday at the Don Gill Elementary School. Thank you to all the participants who showed our students the many careers available to them.
The Personnel Committee Meeting for this evening has been cancelled. Please come out and see our student art show this evening from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the administration building.
The personnel committee, budget committee and business meeting have been moved from this evening to Tuesday, April 18th. Personnel will be held at 4 pm; budget at 5 pm and business meeting at 6:30 pm.
April 4th Work Session Agenda
Our 3rd graders did a great job today during their performances. Mrs. Cary did a great job getting them ready. At the end of the performance, parents were invited to dance with their children. Mr. English and Mrs. Huck even joined the fun.
All after school activities are canceled for today, Friday, March 10th, 2023.
WASD will be operating on a 2 hour delay today, Tuesday, March 7th.
Due to the upcoming storm, all after school activities are cancelled for this afternoon/evening, Friday, March 3rd.
The WASD will be operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28th.
The Don Gill Book Fair Family Night has been rescheduled from tonight to Wednesday, March 1st from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. If anyone ordered Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, they can be picked up at the High School in the Commons Parking Lot today from 3 to 4:00.
