Due to continued icy conditions, the WASD will be using a Flexible Instruction Day today. Although roads are improving in some areas of our district, others are still slippery.
We apologize for the technical issues this morning with our call system regarding the delay this morning. The initial message went out at 5:15 am. Although the messaging system is the quickest way to get information to parents, it is not infallible. The district always posts messages regarding delays and cancellations to our website, FB page, and several local news stations (radio and tv). Again my apologies for the technical issues this morning.

Due to icy conditions in some areas of our district, the WASD will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, Thursday, January 26th.
The Wellsboro Area School District will be using a remote learning day tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25th due to the predicted snow. The district is now using the remote days as all scheduled snow days have been used for this year. All buildings will be closed.
Don Gill students were treated to a special menu on Friday as they had Aliens for Breakfast. Students were also entered into a drawing to win a book with the same name.
A phone and a watch were found at the admin building. If either of these items belongs to you, please contact the district office at 570 724 4424.

Due to varying road conditions across the district, the Wellsboro Area School District will be closed today, Thursday, January 19th.

All busses and vans have safely arrived at the school this morning.
