On behalf of the Wellsboro Student Athlete Leadership Group, we would like to welcome any female student or female student athlete to attend this free and inclusive lifting and exercise session to assist any female who would like to learn more about lifting, assist with exercise program creation, and wants to know more about potential options for staying physically active. Our main goals are to make females more comfortable in the weight room, promote overall fitness, and answer any questions our students might have. We welcome any Wellsboro Area School District Female Student in grades K-12!
The instructional session will be led by Wellsboro School District Coaches, Staff, and 2x PIAA Track and Field Gold Medalist and Wellsboro Record Holder, Piper Hoprich. Any questions can be directed to Student Athlete Leadership Advisor Bryce Bitner at bbitner@wellsborosd.org. We look forward to working with anyone who would like to attend!

We are pleased to share we have a few spots left on our Thailand educational tour happening in Summer 2027, and we’d love for your student to join us!
Here are some highlights of our experience:
• Explore Bangkok’s Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, and cruise the city’s famous klongs
• Experience Thai culture with a floating market visit, cooking class, and organic farm tour
• Hike to Erawan Waterfall, ride the historic “Death Railway,” and tour ancient Sukhothai
• Visit an elephant sanctuary, connect with monks, and shop bustling night markets
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of
tomorrow, and I would love to have your students join us on one of these adventures.
Come hear all the details, including the itinerary, activities, academic credit opportunities, and the cost of the trip at our information night on Wednesday, September 24th at 6pm. The meeting will take place in the Culinary Room.
Please click here to register for the meeting ASAP to save your seat and receive the link: https://bit.ly/3UT56jE
