Kim was a member of our WASD family as she worked with many students at the Don Gill Elementary School. You would also find Kim at many of our athletic and community events that involved our students. Her presence will be missed. Buddy the elf made a visit to each classroom this morning handing out marshmallows and hugs!
The creativity with the gingerbread houses at Don Gill is incredible! I see something new every time I look at them. They are bringing such joy to all! 47 individual houses and 5 classroom projects!

2nd grade is finishing up their Colonial Days activities; making butter, stitching, dream catchers, games, wood staining and making horn books!

Mr. Reese was our special guest today. Mr. Reese has made this woodworking presentation for 30 years to our second graders following their integrated curriculum unit on The Ox Cart Man!
Second grade had an amazing visit from one of WASD retired teachers-Mrs. McCarthy! Mrs. McCarthy's quilt making presentation was part of the 2nd grade colonial days.
