Financial Aid Night is Thursday, January 25th at Wellsboro High School’s LGI Room. Start time is 6:00. The Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Mansfield University will be here to present on all topics of financial aid for post-secondary education. All parents and students are invited.

The faculty, staff, and administration of the Wellsboro Area School District held a special dress down day on Monday to sponsor Wreaths Across America. Through the generous donations of all employees, 17 wreaths were purchased that our Grand Canyon FFA members will help to lay on the graves of our heroes on December 16th, 2023. It was an honor to receive the Trailblazer for Future Talent Award last evening along with my colleagues from Northern and Southern Tioga School Districts. Thank You to the person or persons who nominated us for this award as we continue to focus on work ready skills in our county for all students. Also, a shout out to Mr. Mack and the Wellsboro High School Culinary Students who catered the dinner. I was so proud to tell everyone that my students were catering the event. Great Job!
The Personnel Committee Meeting scheduled for tomorrow, November 2nd, 2023, has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the WASD Board will be on Tuesday, November 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the board room.
